Which book have you read more than any other?
A friend of mine pointed out how he had read the Lord of the Rings. This was in the seventies. Because I valued my friends opinion i got myself a copy of the full set. I read The Hobbit and all three volumes of The Lord of the Rings. I enjoyed that Series so much that I read it again in the 80s, and again in the 90s, and again as the movies were being released.
I also first read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings in the 1970’s. The first time I read The Silmarillion was 1983. The only reason I remember the year so precisely was because it was my Junior year of high school. I have read these books many, many times since then. Also, like you, I read them when the films first came out. J.R.R. Tolkein is one of my favorite authors. I mentioned LOTR in my own word prompt response today.
